About Me
Mislabel was founded by me, Denise Shipley, in 2020. Growing up in a Caribbean home with traditional values and so much restriction, I was always misunderstood and never given space to express myself especially when it came to my wardrobe. Being mislabeled and forced to wear what never suited me opened a creative door to start a clothing brand where I am able to eliminate the boxes and categories filled with everyone else's perspective. I'm here to share this with anyone who has also felt misunderstood and mislabeled.
